snow+concrete: The Grand Finale in Montana Biermann's series of photographs of melting snow will come to a grand finale in Montana this April. Rheingold - a new collaborative project with ThyssenKrupp After two successful projects with German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp in 2006/7 and 201/11, Biermann is certainly one of the more experienced artists when it comes to printing photographs on tinplate. For this new project, ThyssenKrupp will manufacture special grade tinplate panels for Rheingold, the latest addition to Biermann's Ophelia series, showing used plastic carrier bags floating in used engine oil.
